Bryan Mark Taylor is a painter, lecturer, entrepreneur, and world traveler—a true renaissance man. Born in Portland, Oregon, he received his BA from BYU in 2001 and an MFA from the Academy of Art University in 2005. He currently lives in Utah, USA, with his wife and children.
As a painter, Bryan has won awards in national and international shows, including three top awards in the 2022 ARC International Salon and a gold medal at the California Art Club’s annual exhibition in 2009. His work is featured in prominent art and design magazines such as Plein Air, American Art Collector, Fine Art Connoisseur, and Imagine FX. His paintings can be found in private, corporate, and museum collections across the US, Europe, China, India, South America, and New Zealand.
Bryan is also a sought-after teacher and lecturer. He has taught courses at the Academy of Art University, Pixar, Sentient Academy, and the Scottsdale Artists’ School. He has been a featured speaker at major events, including the Plein Air Convention, CTNX (Creative Talent Network Expo), Fantastic Arts, Dragonsteel, and Vision X conferences.
As a product designer and entrepreneur, Bryan developed the STRADA Easel—a premier outdoor painting system used by plein air artists worldwide. He is also the co-founder of Sentient Academy and the Vision X global art conference, both of which have inspired and educated artists from K-12 through professional levels.
Travel is another source of inspiration for Bryan. As he journeys across the globe, he carefully observes and captures cities, cultures, and the everyday miracles of nature in his work.

Josh Clare was born and raised in Utah and has been making art ever since childhood. He received his formal training at Brigham Young University–Idaho, where he was introduced to oil painting and mentored by instructors who deeply shaped his artistic journey.
Early recognition helped launch Josh’s career, but he considers his path one of ongoing learning, gratitude, and devotion to his craft. He describes painting as a privilege and gives thanks daily for the chance to “see the sun cast shadows.” Josh lives and works in Cache Valley, Utah, where he and his wife are raising their five children.

“I live hoping to become the kind of man worth knowing, and I paint hoping that someday, someone will see the bits of me stuck there in my work—and be changed for the better. If there is anything in my work that is good—it’s because of and thanks to God the father of our spirits and His son Jesus Christ. As often as I forget it, I know that I am nothing of myself, and I’m deeply grateful that God has allowed me to live, and to paint.”
